Ecuador is one of the few countries in the world that exports all the varieties of coffee: Arábica lavado, Arábica natural and Robusta.
Coffee has been grown in Ecuador for generations. Most Ecuadorian coffee is grown on small farms. Ecuador’s coffee-growing tradition
can be traced back to the early 19th century.
The lowlands produce Robusta, but the high mountain regions produce Arabica.
